Amid rising global cyber threats and India’s growing digital risks, the book stands out as a first-of-its-kind initiative connecting technical knowledge with human behaviour — bridging the gap between awareness and resilience.

The launch event, held at The Press Club, Kolkata, on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 3:00 PM, was graced by:

Chief Guest: Shri Hari Kishore Kusumakar, IPS, Additional Director General – Coastal Security, CISO & Member, AI CoE, Government of West Bengal Police.

Guests of Honour: Shri Sanjay Kumar Das, Additional Secretary, Department of Science & Technology and Biotechnology & State Information Security Officer, Government of West Bengal, and Shri Chitradeep Chakraborty, renowned author of several cybersecurity books based on real-world incidents.

The Book and Its Mission
Conceptualized by Sushobhan Mukherjee, Co-Founder & CEO, Prime Infoserv Pvt. Ltd., the book captures the essence of cybersecurity awareness — designed to educate students, professionals, policymakers, and digital citizens alike.
Structured across 26 chapters, “Cyber Security, A to Z” explores one key cybersecurity concept per alphabet — from Anatomy of a Cyber Attack to Zero Trust Security — presenting a holistic and humanized view of modern digital defense.

Why the Book Matters

India ranks among the top five countries globally for malware infections.

65% of Indian cyber incidents involve financial or identity fraud.

AI and deepfake scams are rapidly rising.

The average cost of a data breach in India now exceeds ₹18 crore (~USD 2.2 million).

“This book isn’t just a collection of chapters — it’s a journey through the alphabet of cyber consciousness,” said Sushobhan Mukherjee, Co-Founder & CEO, Prime Infoserv Pvt. Ltd.

“Cybersecurity touches everyone — from startups to governments,” added Abhishek Rungta, Founder & CEO, Indus Net Technologies (INT). “Our vision is to democratize cyber knowledge through structured training, outreach, and digital learning.”
