Eminent Poet Ipsita Ganguli felicitated by Gujrat Sahitya Academy and Motivational Strips, the world’s most active literary forum.

Eminent poet Ipsita Ganguli was amongst a select group of international poets to be felicitated at Bengaluru on the 1st October this year.This the third consecutive year that she has been selected for the The India Independence Day Global Literary Honours jointly awarded by Gujarat Sahitya Academy and Motivational Strips, the world’s most active writers forum. She has also been honored with the Literary Leadership Award at the same event.
These awards were handed over to select poets through a grand ceremony held in Bengaluru at the Soundarya Educational Trust, a leading educational group in South India,
These world’s leading Poetry Awards were directly handed over by Dr Vishnu Pandya and Motivational Strips Founder and president Shiju H Pallithazheth. Padma Shree awardee Dr Vishnu Pandya stated that the event has created history in world literature and will remain one of the greatest achievement of Gujarat Sahitya Academy when it comes to justice towards the nation’s literature goals.

Ipsita Ganguli is the authour of two books of poems ” Of Love, Longing and Random Pondering” and “Rooted,India 75,and We, the People” which is a poetic tribute to India on the occasion of India’s 75th year of Independence One can also visit her website www.ipsitaganguli.com for her poetry and other writings.Her books are also available at select bookstores like Oxford and Story as well as on online platforms like Amazon and Flipkart.

Ipsita describes herself as a Business Consultant at sunrise and a Poet at sunset.
”Business Consultant, Former Hotelier, Authour, Travel Writer, Heritage Enthusiast, Poet…she continues to wear many hats…but above all, she has, and will always be a student of the myriad experiences that life holds out.
Her poems have been published in several national and international e zines and anthologies .She plays one of main characters of the poetryfilm Kolkata Cocktail which has been screened in domestic and overseas film festivals.
She has also ideated, conceptualised and conducted a series of Talk Shows on Facebook entitled Cafe Conversations
as well as curated offline Poetry events for Kolkata Literary Meet at Victoria Memorial and at Kolkata Centre for Creativity, amongst others.

Other than The India Independence Day Global Literary Award which she received consecutively the last 3 years 2020 2021 and 2022 , She has also received the “Order of Shakespeare Medal-2021” for her literary contribution. Moreover, she has gained Certificate of Appreciation for participation in online multicultural festival organised by Bhutanese Literature and Arts conducted in February 2021 in collaboration with 41st birth anniversary of his Majesty King of Bhutan.
She has also been recognised as
World Contemporary Poet by Poetry and Literature World Vision group from Bangladesh . Some of her poems have been translated into Bengali by eminent Bangladeshi poet Shakil Kalam
Her poems have also been translated into Assamese by film critic and poet Utpal Dutta.
