Dr. Samir Shil received doctorate degree Ph.D and Gold Medal

International University CPVU organized their prestigious Convocation ‘Convocation 22’ at Mathura. This year Dr. Samir Shil, eminent poet, writer and research scholar from West Bengal and President of International Literary Foundation, was awarded an honorary Doctorate Degree by the University.
This accolade is in recognition of his outstanding research on the last twelve years of Sri Chaitanya’s life i.e. “Gambhira Leela” and also for his great work on Rabindrik research in Bengali literature.
He was awarded this Honorary Doctorate P.hD.. and was awarded Swarna-padak (Gold Medal). Chief Guest Minister Ravikant Garg, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Reshmi Sharma, Registrar Dr. Praveen Pal Singh, Jaipur High Court Justice Manish Sharma and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
Dr. Samir Shil, in his convocation speech, greeted the delegates from home and abroad and the distinguished persons participating in the convocation. He also spoke on Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s ideals and philosophy of equality and humanity that are equally relevant today for holistic development of our society.
