Adamas Moot Court: Platform for Future Legal Leaders
The First Adamas Intra Moot Court Competition, 2023, was organised by the School of Law and Justice (SOLJ) at Adamas University (AU). The 3-day event was conducted recently under the leadership of AKS and Associates. Samit Ray, Chancellor, Adamas University, and Vice-Chancellor of the university, Suranjan Das, envisioned and mentored this programme.
The participation of over 30 teams contributed to the success of this competition. Souvik Roy, Professor and Associate Dean, AU SOLJ; Sujit Kumar Nandy, Retired District and Sessions Judge; Hooghly and Faculty at the School of Law and Justice; Ishita Chatterjee, Professor, SOLJ; and others were present at the inaugural ceremony.
The two best teams were selected to compete for the coveted first position in the final. A panel of five judges presided over the final round. The competition also culminated with the announcement of the Best Speaker and Best Researcher.
