Aakash Aath Announces Special Wedding Episodes In The Megaserial ‘Modhur Hawa’
- Introduces Renowned Bengali Television Actress Bhavana Banerjee As Piu –
Kolkata, 13th September, 2024: Aakash Aath, one of the leading General Entertainment Channels (GEC), is all set to captivate viewers with a special wedding-themed episode of its popular family drama Modhur Hawa. Directed by Anindya Sarkar and based on an original story by Pracheta Gupta, this episode will be telecasted as part of the regular series but with a distinctive focus on the beauty and humor of traditional Bengali wedding rituals and the beliefs associated with the ceremony. This specific episode will also introduce, one the very renowned face of the Bengali Television industry, actor Bhavana Banerjee as Piu.
The wedding special episode revolves around an exciting competition during the sacred puja ceremony which is common ritual of every Indian wedding. A fun yet serious face-off unfolds between Kanai, the elderly family priest and Piu, a young, tech-savvy Sanskrit scholar. But as the family gathers for the wedding everyone present for the occasion realizes that Piu is a widow. The guests and the family members disagrees to accept Piu’s presence in such a pious occasion. Amidst such ongoing turmoil, Vijay, who secretly was in deep love with Piu, fills her head with red sindoor and renders her the social recognition of his better half. Now, the show will gradually reveal about the challenges which Piu will encounter and how Vijay’s family and society will accept Piu-Vijay by breaking all the pre imposed societal limitations.
