Fourth State Conference of Bengal Provincial Banks Contract Employees Association

The 4th conference of the ‘Bengal Provincial Banks Contract Employees Association (BPBCEA)’ was held on Saturday afternoon at Rani Rashmoni Road in Kolkata. This organization is the largest trade union organization of contractual employees working in various public sector, private sector, regional rural banks, State Bank of India, Reserve Bank of India and Cooperative Banks in West Bengal. The organization is affiliated to the Bengal Provincial Bank Employees Association (BPBEA), which is best known as the state branch of the All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA) since 1946. The conference was inaugurated by ‘Comrade Kamal Bhattacharya, Chairman of BPBEA. Comrade Rajen Nagar, President of AIBEA and other central trade union leaders delivered their valuable speeches. All of them strongly criticized the following policies, steps and decisions of the central government. The joint movement and awareness of the workers, workers, farmers and the general public will be able to stop the government from doing things against the interests of its country and the people. The participation of all and the reasoned speeches that made today’s conference more successful. On behalf of BPBCEA, General Secretary and Joint Secretary of BPBEA, Syed Moha: Shahabuddin said in their speech that our beloved country is going through an important and critical period today, where most of the decisions of the government are against the interests of the country and the workers, farmers, servants, daily wage earners and unemployed educated youth and women.
