Kkhubii Presents ‘Anubhuti: Sukoon’ — A Photography and Painting Exhibition at Jamini Roy Gallery, ICCR
Kolkata:
Kkhubii, a creative collective incubated by IIM Bangalore’s NSRCEL Mumbai, presents ‘Anubhuti: Sukoon’, a photography and painting exhibition at the Jamini Roy Gallery, ICCR, Kolkata. The exhibition explores the essence of sukoon—inner calm, emotional stillness, and the lived moments that offer quiet comfort in an increasingly restless contemporary world.
‘Anubhuti: Sukoon’ unfolds through evocative photographs and paintings that capture fleeting experiences of peace, human connection, memory, and nature. Each artwork reflects a deeply personal yet universally resonant emotion, inviting viewers to slow down, observe mindfully, and engage with art as a sensory and emotional journey rather than a spectacle.
Kkhubii functions as a multidisciplinary cultural platform working across visual arts, photography, painting, film, and creative education. Beyond exhibitions, the platform actively supports emerging artists, curates visual storytelling projects, and fosters dialogue between art, society, and contemporary thought. Its incubation under IIM Bangalore’s NSRCEL Mumbai highlights Kkhubii’s commitment to sustainable creative entrepreneurship and cultural innovation.
At the core of Kkhubii’s vision is Shrestha Ganguly, acclaimed filmmaker, visual storyteller, and co-owner of the platform. Renowned for her nuanced cinematic narratives rooted in human emotions and social realities, Shrestha brings a filmmaker’s sensitivity to Kkhubii’s curatorial language. Her work consistently explores themes of identity, silence, resilience, and emotional truth—elements that strongly shape the conceptual framework of ‘Anubhuti: Sukoon’. Through this exhibition, she extends her cinematic gaze into the gallery space, allowing still images and painted forms to speak with the same depth and introspection as moving images.
‘Anubhuti: Sukoon’ at Jamini Roy Gallery, ICCR, is an intimate artistic journey—one that invites audiences to pause, feel, and rediscover calm through visual expression.
“It gives me immense joy to welcome you all to the Kkhubii painting and photography exhibition at the Jamini Roy Gallery, ICCR. This space holds a rich legacy of Indian art, making it especially meaningful for us to present Kkhubii here.
The theme Anubhuti aur Sukoon speaks of inner experience, calm reflection, and emotional truth. In a fast-moving world, this exhibition invites us to pause, feel deeply, and reconnect with ourselves. Through paintings and photographs, the artists transform personal emotions into shared moments of stillness and comfort.
As a filmmaker, I believe stories live beyond cinema—in colours, light, textures, and expressions. Kkhubii was born from this belief, to support honest creative voices and lived experiences.
Incubated by IIM Bangalore and powered by NSRCEL Mumbai, with CSR support from Kotak Mahindra Bank, Kkhubii stands on a strong foundation of creativity and sustainability.
I thank ICCR, our mentors, partners, and most importantly the artists. I invite you to experience the exhibition with an open heart and carry its sukoon with you beyond these walls” said Shrestha Ganguly, Co-owner of Kkhubii.
