LG Electronics organises Blood Donation camp in Kolkata as a part of company’s CSR initiative

Kolkata, 26 June 2023 – LG Electronics India, a leading consumer durable brand in the country organized a blood donation camp in Notunbazar, Kolkata in association with Kusum Club. This initiative is a part of ongoing nationwide Blood Donation Drive. The event marked a significant milestone in LG Electronics’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, aimed at making a positive impact on society.
Under the core theme of “LIFE’S GOOD WHEN LIFE’S SHARED,” LG Electronics India plans to commemorate its 26 years of successful operations in India by executing meaningful interventions. Through the nationwide mega Blood Donation Drive, LG Electronics India aims to amplify awareness regarding the vital importance of blood donation and motivate individuals to actively engage in this noble initiative.
Shri Sudip Bandopadhyay, MP was present to encourage the donors. He extended his gratitude to LG Electronics for undertaking such nobel cause nationally. People from all section of the society came forward to donate blood. More than 100 people donated their blood.
To ensure maximum impact, LG Electronics has devised a comprehensive mass awareness campaign, leveraging radio and digital platforms to sensitize the public to the numerous benefits of blood donation and encourage their contribution to life-saving efforts.
