Thakurta and Sumit Ghosh Chowdhury The studio is focussed on designer sarees and kurtis According to the designer duo’ We have always celebrated the timelessness of nonchalant aestheticism by going beyond the boundaries of contemporary fashion and disturbing retrospectively the basis on which the common perceptions of glamour and beauty is constituted In this journey we have been motivated, supported and admired eternally by our well wishers and this admiration is the foundation stone of the new store SELF STORY at Sarat Bose Road, south Kolkata
Nature is all encompassing. Whenever we need to rediscover the dynamism of my inner aesthetics we always turn to nature-this collection upholds the natural hues in organic colours and materials flaunting the pristinely crafted batik and kantha art work of our karigars. The radar of this collection goes beyond facile representations in fashion and displays the poetic virtuosity of inexhaustible elements of nature eternalised through renaissance of naturalism
