JKS Shotokan Karate Do Academy
On 5 November, 2023 a Karate belt Gradation ceremony was organized at Greenwood Park, New town.
Around 250 Karate-ka were participated from different location of North Kolkata, South Kolkata, Ankurhati (Howrah), Konnagar, New town and also few group of students from some Schools. The program was headed by Sensei Manoj Kumar Das & Sensei Kr. Vikrant Gupta Shihan Koushik Bose was the chief examiner who is currently holding the 7 Degree of Black Belt from Japan, Sensei Tapas Biswas was the Assistant Examiner. Our institute is affiliated with International Shotokan-ryu Karate do Association of India (SKAI) which is the member of Karate India Organisation (KIO) & Karate do Association of Bengal (KAB). KIO is the only national federation of Indian Karate which is again member of World Karate do Federation (WKF).
We prepare our students for KAB state & KIO national championship and also we teach traditional Karate.
