The Astor Kolkata Celebrates the King of Summer with an Exclusive Mango Festival at Kebab-e-que

The Astor Kolkata welcomes the flavours of summer with an indulgent Mango Festival at its signature restaurant, Kebab-e-que. Running till 30th June, the festival features a specially curated à la carte menu available for both lunch (12:30 PM – 3:30 PM) and dinner (7:00 PM – 11:45 PM). Crafted to highlight the richness and versatility of the mango, each dish in this menu is a tribute to the season’s most loved fruit.
From refreshing beverages to hearty mains and indulgent desserts, the Mango Festival promises a journey through textures, temperatures, and techniques. Guests can begin with tropical sips like Fresh Mango Boba Tea, a nostalgic twist with “Who Tweaked My Granny’s Aam Panna?”, or the wellness-inspired Mango and Chia Seeds Lassi. Small plates like the Tropical Soul Bowl, Pulled Jackfruit Poppers, Thai Mango Fish, and Harissa Chicken Skewers create a vibrant and flavourful prelude.
The main course offerings are a celebration of creativity—think Sichuan Tofu with sliced raw mango and three peppers, Alphonso Zucchini Lasagne with mango salsa, and the aromatic Aam Corn Gost served with steamed rice or green chili naan. The Kancha Aam-er Grilled Chicken and the classic Aam Shol add regional depth to the spread.
Desserts bring the festival to a delightful close. The Mango Kulfi in Astor Way – a whole mango stuffed with kulfi – is a showstopper, while the Rose Tart made with Murshidabad mangoes and the Mango Cheesecake with sea salt and salsa are perfect summer treats.
