Nilanjan Basu
B.E. (Civil), M.E. (Structures) is a reputed Structural Engineer having more than 20 years of experience in his field. He has
worked in diverse projects involving Design and Detailing of RCC, Steel and Composite Structures. His
proficiency domain ranges from Steel Plants to Cement Plants, Oil Refineries, Airports and Multiplexes,
etc. He has worked in top level companies
before starting his own company, Basu Consulting Engineers in December 2007.
His people are well versed with US, British and European Codes which helps them deal with projects all over the world. At BCE he encourages the use of multiple software packages to avoid stereotype design.
Nilanjan Basu has authored Engineering Design publications, along with Text books on BASIC, C++ & JAVA. He hopes to encourage future engineers to take up the challenge of building a better India through their knowledge.
On 5th April at Abanindra Savaghar, Nandan campus, Nilanjan Basu was presented with the prestigious HELLO KOLKATA ACHIEVER’S AWARD. This Award is a due recognition for his outstanding contribution to core engineering, informed Asish Basak, Editor-Director of HELLO KOLKATA.
