Bhabna Nritya Shiksha Kendra Presents “Kabi Pranam” 2026 & Dance Drama “Shyama”

Bhabna Nritya Shiksha Kendra proudly presents “Kabi Pranam 2026”, a special cultural tribute organized on the occasion of its 11th Annual Celebration. The event pays homage to Bengal’s two legendary literary icons, Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam, under the theme:

“Nobo Robi Kirone Anjali Loho Mor”
“Smarane Rabindranath, Monane Nazrul”

The highlight of the evening will be a grand presentation of Rabindranath Tagore’s timeless dance drama Shyama, featuring an ensemble of distinguished artists and dancers.

The title role of Shyama will be portrayed by renowned Kathak dancer Sreya Das. Popular film and television actor Rubel Das will be seen in the role of Bajrasen, while acclaimed dancer Abhirup Sengupta will portray Uttiya.

The entire production has been conceptualized and directed by Bapi Sadhukha, whose creative vision has shaped this unique cultural offering.

Adding further glamour to the celebration, noted film and television actress Sweta Bhattacharya will make a special guest appearance. The evening will be hosted by eminent recitation artist Madhumita Bose, who will guide the audience through the cultural journey.

“Kabi Pranam” 2026 promises to be a memorable confluence of poetry, music, dance, and drama, celebrating the enduring legacy of Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam through artistic excellence and heartfelt performances.
