Grand Closing Ceremony of Hindi Fortnight–2026 at Braithwaite & Co. Limited
Braithwaite & Co. Limited (BCL) organised the closing ceremony of “Hindi Fortnight (Pakhwada)–2026” at the Company’s Bingham Hall in a dignified atmosphere, with the objective of creating awareness about Hindi and promoting the use of Hindi in official and office-related work. Shri Sanjeev Rastogi, Director (Production), Shri R. Veerabahu, Director (Finance), along with other senior officers, employees, and participants of various competitions of BCL, enthusiastically participated in the programme.
The ceremony commenced with the welcome address by Shri Sanjeev Rastogi, Director (Production). In his address, he emphasized the need to make greater use of Hindi in official work by leveraging the new opportunities available for the language in the present era of technology and Artificial Intelligence.
As the Guest Speaker, Dr. Shreeparna Tarafdar, Assistant Professor, Bangabasi Morning College, delivered an insightful address on the topic “Hindi Language in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: New Possibilities and Challenges.” During Hindi Pakhwada, various Hindi competitions and activities were organized across all three units of the company. During the closing ceremony, the participants of these competitions were felicitated and presented with prizes. On the occasion, their creativity and enthusiasm were highly appreciated.
The ceremony concluded with a resolve that the use of Hindi would not remain confined to Hindi Fortnight alone, but would continue to be promoted consistently and effectively in official and office-related work.
