Joint Tree Plantation Drive by CISF Unit GRSEL Kolkata and Little Steps School

Kolkata, 07 July 2026: As part of its commitment towards environmental conservation and promoting a greener future, CISF Unit GRSEL Kolkata organized a joint tree plantation drive with the students of Little Steps School, Metiabruz, Kolkata, on 07 July 2026 at around 09:30 hrs.

During the programme, approximately 90 saplings of Mango and Mahua were planted jointly by the school children and CISF personnel within the school premises. The initiative was undertaken to further the shared commitment towards creating a green, healthy, and sustainable environment while encouraging environmental awareness among young students.

The event was attended by the school’s top management officials including Mr. Sanjay Kumar Sinha, Mr. Trafton Mark Anthony, Mr. G Sonny and other school management officials, teachers and personnel of CISF Unit GRSEL Kolkata. The participants enthusiastically took part in the plantation drive, highlighting the importance of protecting nature and preserving ecological balance for future generations.

The joint plantation drive reflects the collective resolve of CISF Unit GRSEL Kolkata and Little Steps School, Metiabruz, Kolkata, to contribute towards environmental sustainability and inspire the younger generation to actively participate in preserving nature.
